Apps Resource Centre of HKBU will hold a coding workshop called Girls Coding Day, in collaboration with an NGO of Girls Coding Club, which is dedicated to creating a "diverse world with digitally empowered females".

The theme for Girls Coding Day Campus Tour @ HKBU (女性編程日) is python programming for beginners (網路爬蟲). As for the event, apart from learners, there will also be coaches, who will mentor a small group of students. The ratio of coach and learner is about 1:4.
Thus, we’re now recruiting both coaches and female student learners to attend the event. We believe this is an opportunity to fulfil our mandate of the need for learning to code and addressing a social issue of gender equality.
